first_imgCategories: Letters to the Editor, Opinion A most wonderful production was put on recently at the Blue Roses Theatre in Schenectady High School. Using the words of people who actually spoke them, the play brought the audience back 25 years ago. It relived the accidental killing of a child and a rift between the black and Hassidic communities in the surrounding area of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The theater has consistently had excellent productions and is a real gem in our community. For a top admission price of $6 ($3 for seniors and students), it can’t be topped for a  marvelous afternoon or evening of good drama, comedy or a musical.Their next production will be The Addams Family in March. Take the family and see something exciting. These young people deserve to be supported.Sally MadgidNiskayunaMore from The Daily Gazette:Foss: Should main downtown branch of the Schenectady County Public Library reopen?Puccioni’s two goals help Niskayuna boys’ soccer top Shaker, remain perfectEDITORIAL: Beware of voter intimidationNiskayuna girls’ cross country wins over BethlehemEDITORIAL: Thruway tax unfair to working motoristslast_img
