Westmeath this morning for questioning about the alleged kidnap of Mary Boyle.The 6 year old disappeared while visiting her grandparents home in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal in 1977.The inquiry into her presumed abduction was revived as part of a ‘cold case’ review in 2011.Speaking to Highland Radio News, Marys mother, Ann Boyle says hopefully she will find out what happened her daughter before she dies:Audio Player Up/Down Arrow keys to increase or decrease volume.Meanwhile, the man in custody is being held at Mullingar Garda Station in Co Westmeath – where he can be questioned for up to 24 hours – excluding rest periods.Kieran Kenny – the Assistant Commissioner for the Northern Region – says the arrest follows a second review of the case:Audio Player Up/Down Arrow keys to increase or decrease volume.
