first_imgAudi has previewed its electrically-powered SUV e-tron in India. While the official unveil of Audi e-tron is set to take place on July 12, the all-wheel-drive vehicle is expected to be launched in the country by late 2019.Audi e-tron is powered by two electric motors. The one at the front makes 170 hp. The rear unit produces 190 hp. While the combined power output is 360 hp, the torque figure stands at 561 Nm. In boost mode, the power output jumps to 408 hp, with the torque figure rising to 664 Nm. The 5-seater SUV comes with a 95 kWh lithium-ion battery and two-stage planetary gearbox with single gear.The luxury carmaker claims a top-speed 200 kmph for e-tron. The electrically-powered SUV can make 0-100 kmph in 6.6 seconds. In boost mode, it takes only 5.7 seconds to reach 100 kmph from a standstill. The vehicle gets a 660-litre boot. There is 60 litres of space under the hood as well.Audi e-tron boasts of features like octagonal grille, Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicators, LED taillights, 20-inch five Arm dynamic design contrast grey wheels and exterior virtual mirrors. Other features include four-zone air conditioner, phone box with wireless charging, virtual cockpit, MMI navigation with MMI Touch, B&O sound system, panoramic sunroof, surround view camera and smartphone interface.The electrically-powered SUV will be available in India as a CBU (Completely Built Up) unit.
